Founded in Geneva in 1755, Vacheron Constantin is the world’s oldest watch manufacture in continuous operation. The Toledo collection draws inspiration from the distinctive shaped watches created by Vacheron Constantin during the mid-twentieth century. Characterised by their broad, curved rectangular cases, these models became affectionately known among collectors as 'Cioccolatone', owing to their resemblance to a square of chocolate. This unusual architecture has since become one of the most recognisable expressions of the Maison’s design heritage.
Reference 42100 was introduced as part of Vacheron Constantin’s renewed exploration of its historical creations.
