The 40mm case combines stainless steel and 18k Rose gold, with the bezel, crown, and pushers rendered in gold, a subtle nod to the two-tone aesthetics often seen in AP's early chronographs. The vintage inspiration from reference 1533 is evident in the case's distinctive 'tear drop' lug design and the olive-shaped chronograph pushers. The gold-toned brushed dial features a classic tri-compax layout, enhanced by a blue tachymeter scale printed along the outer edge, just beyond the 'chemin de fer' minute track.
