Rolex Daytona 16523 Champagne Dial - Unpolished

One of the most famous and iconic Rolex models is the Cosmograph Daytona. In 1963, Rolex launched the first Cosmograph model, marking the beginning of a must-have for collectors. While the first Daytona models featured manual movements, the turning point came in 1988. The introduction of the ref. 16520, the first self-winding Daytona, captured the public's attention in the late 1980s, becoming an instant hit with its renewed appeal and notable improvements, including a larger 40mm diameter case with crown guards. This Daytona series was moved by the famous Rolex 4030, an elaboration by Rolex of the Zenith El Primero movement, one of the best precision chronograph movements in the history of watchmaking. This example is dated from 1997. The watch features a stunning champagne dial. The watch is in unpolished and very good condition.
