Rolex Air-King 14000 - Blue Jeans Soleil Dial - Rolex Punched Warranty Launched during World War II, the Rolex Air-King is the last remaining model in production from the original "Air Series." The transitional reference 6552 introduced caliber 1030, differing from earlier models using Hunter movements. In 1958, the ref. 5500 debuted, featuring calibers 1520 or 1530, though importation laws led to a reduced jewel count in some versions. Various dial designs appeared over the years, including the rare double red dial, which prominently displayed "Air-King" and "Super Precision" in red. The present timepiece ref. 14000 dated from 1997 features a blue dial with a nice patina that gives a “Jeans” looking color to the dial. The watch features its original punched warranty.
