Patek Philippe's Reference 1415, launched shortly thereafter, marked the debut of a proper production-model world timer from the esteemed Swiss brand, though its production was relatively modest, spanning from 1939 to 1954. The 2523 succeeded the 1415 and introduced a second crown to switch time zones. This reference was produced from the mid-1950s to 1965. After approximately 35 years, Patek Philippe revived the beloved world time complication with the introduction of the Reference 5110, serving as the successor to Cottier's masterpiece.
