To mark its 200th anniversary, the bank partnered with Swiss luxury watchmaker Audemars Piguet to create a commemorative timepiece: reference 15189ST. This midsize Royal Oak features a refined white dial and, notably, is paired with a leather strap and a superb AP monogram deployant clasp—an uncommon and elegant configuration. The caseback bears an engraved lion—the emblem of Pictet & Cie—alongside the inscription "1805–2005." Beneath it is the name of the individual recipient, followed by the engraving "Audemars Piguet Édition Spéciale," underscoring the exclusive nature of the piece. With its 36mm case, the watch offers a versatile fit, discreet enough for the executive boardrooms of Swiss finance. Its most striking feature, beyond its fascinating provenance, is the dial: a finely crafted tapisserie pattern showcasing Audemars Piguet's hallmark craftsmanship.
