1604011 Rolex Submariner Date 1680 - Black Red Writing Dial MK6

The Rolex Submariner is considered an icon whose design is among the most recognizable in the field of diving watches. The shapes and curves of this model have become a point of reference from which all modern watches are inspired. Its versatility guarantees a perfect fit on the wrist, suitable for any occasion. The first Rolex Submariner with date display is the ref. 1680, marketed starting from around 1967. The first examples, approximately until 1975, were fitted with a particular "red writing" dial which was gradually replaced by one with entirely white graphics which would equip the model until the end of production in 1979. This example from 1974 is a MK6 1680 with black pallettoni dial, red writing and a black bezel. The watch is preserved in excellent condition.
