In production from 1989 to 2007, the Rolex GMT-Master II ref. 16710 succeeded its predecessor, the ref. 16700, while preserving much of its coveted aesthetics, notably its sleek slim case that exudes vintage charm. It is powered by the caliber 3185 movement, allowing the GMT hand to function independently. During its 18-year production span, this reference underwent minor transitional updates. Initially, early examples featured Tritium luminescent material until 1997, followed by Luminova from 1998 to 1999, and finally Superluminova from 2000 to 2007. The highlighted timepiece is a Rolex GMT-Master II, reference 16710, crafted from stainless steel with a two-tone red and black bezel, Oyster bracelet and a beutiful black dial with tritium indexes manufactured in 1990.
