Rolex Lady DateJust 6917 Factory Coral Dial

Rolex Lady DateJust 6917 First introduced in 1945 to commemorate the company's 40th anniversary, the Datejust is one of the oldest collections of Rolex watches still in production today. While the date function has become standard on most contemporary watches, the Rolex Datejust was the world's first self-winding wristwatch to feature a date window that automatically changed at the stroke of midnight. While this functionality may now seem somewhat common, it was the Datejust that set the standard for how a date complication works on a wristwatch. During the 70s Rolex adorned their Datejust and DayDate with refined hard stone dials. These dials were made only with the finest stone including this beautiful and eye-catching factory coral. The present Datejust ref. 6917 is presented in beautiful conditions with its original Rolex Oyster riveted bracelet. The dial presents very few micro hairlines but in overall excellent conditions. This watch is from 1973, features an amazing factory coral dial and is preserved in excellent conditions.
