Description
Patek Philippe Nautilus 3710 Power Reserve - Extract from the Archives
The Patek Philippe Nautilus, designed by Gerald Genta and launched in 1976, is a significant 20th-century watch design. Initially featuring simple time and date dials, the Nautilus took a new direction in 1998 with the introduction of the reference 3710/1A, which included a power reserve indicator. This model, housed in the iconic porthole-inspired case, featured a black dial with Roman numeral hour markers, a date window, and a 42mm "Jumbo" case size reminiscent of the original 3700. The Nautilus 3710/1A was phased out in 2005, marking it as a rare piece with a limited production run and setting the stage for future Nautilus models with complications.
This example is from 1999, it is preserved in excellent condition and accompanied by its extract from archives.
