Rolex GMT Master 16710 The legacy of the Rolex GMT-Master manifests itself as one of the most iconic dual-time wristwatches with a prestigious background in aviation. In production from 1989 to 2007, the Rolex GMT-Master II ref. 16710 took the baton from its predecessor ref. 16700, retaining much of its desirable aesthetics intact, especially its charming slim case that evokes vintage appeal. Inside it houses the calibre 3185 movement, featuring an independently adjustable GMT hand and a 50-hour power reserve. With production spanning 18 years, this reference has gone through minor transitional updates. The first examples featured Tritium luminescent material (until 1997), followed by Luminova (1998-1999) and finally Superluminova (2000-2007). The watch presented here is a Rolex GMT-MASTER II, reference 16710 in steel with a two-tone red and blue steel bezel and an Oyster bracelet, produced in 2003.
