Few collaborations between haute horlogerie and automotive design have achieved such a distinctive result as the partnership between Girard-Perregaux and Aston Martin. Combining Swiss watchmaking expertise with the unmistakable design language of one of Britain’s most celebrated automotive marques, the collaboration has created a series of timepieces where mechanical architecture and automotive aesthetics become one.

The Neo Bridges Aston Martin Edition, reference 84000-21-3236-5CX, is one of the most distinctive expressions of this partnership. Limited to only 250 pieces worldwide, it reinterprets Girard-Perregaux’s historic Bridges concept through a highly contemporary design, dispensing with a traditional dial in favour of an openworked architecture that places the movement at the centre of the composition.

The manufacture automatic calibre GP08400-2164 is fully exposed, with its bridges, gear train, micro-rotor and balance wheel forming the visual identity of the watch. The prominent balance at 6 o’clock and contrasting Aston Martin green accents emphasise its technical character, while the openworked construction creates an exceptional sense of depth. The movement provides approximately 48 hours of power reserve.

The 45 mm case is crafted from lightweight titanium with a black DLC finish, complemented by a black rubber strap featuring contrasting green stitching and a titanium DLC folding clasp. Its sculpted architecture takes inspiration from the lines and proportions of Aston Martin’s DB12, translating automotive design into a highly sophisticated mechanical object.

The present example is preserved in condition comparable to like new and has been worn only very sparingly. The case, movement architecture, crystal, strap and clasp remain exceptionally well preserved, retaining the sharpness and original finishes of this highly technical design.

The watch is accompanied by its original warranty card dated 2024 and dedicated Aston Martin x Girard-Perregaux certificate.
